What began as Wintrack Inc’s public fight against Chennai Customs over alleged bribery has now sparked a much bigger conversation about corruption in India’s trade infrastructure.
After the Finance Ministry confirmed an official probe into Wintrack’s charges, importers, customs brokers, and business owners across the country have started sharing their own accounts of harassment, bribery demands, and delays at ports.
