It was a long week for cross-border truck drivers. IT outages had some waiting more than 30 hours to cross into Ontario. It wasn't as bad in Windsor, with delays between five to seven hours on Thursday. But as CBC's Chris Ensing reports, truck companies say they've had enough.

The minister of public safety has given Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) 30 days to provide a report on the information technology (IT) system outage that held up border traffic and led to truckers being stranded for an extended period.

According to a spokesperson, Minister Gary Anandasangaree said he wants a report outlining what caused the outage and a plan to prevent another one in the future.
