At least two people died in the Philippines as super typhoon Fung-wong lashed the central and eastern parts of the country. As reported by the global news agency Reuters, more than a million people evacuated vulnerable areas ahead of the typhoonβs landfall in Aurora Province in Luzon, the countryβs most populous island.
The bodies of the two deceased persons were recovered by local authorities.
