Violence broke out in Bihar's Gopalganj on Sunday evening after a police vehicle was set on fire by an angry mob following false rumours about the death of a biker who got injured in a road accident. The chaos unfolded near Jadopur Chowk, where a collision involving a police SUV and a motorcycle left three people injured.
According to police, the accident occurred around 6:30 to 7:00 pm when a police vehicle carrying the Circle Inspector was heading toward the police lines.
