Ex- Barnala Sarpanch Sukhwinder Singh Calcutta was shot dead in broad daylight in Punjab.

Police have launched an investigation into the killing. Calcutta had been associated with the Congress for a long time but had recently been working with Simranjit Singh Mann’s party.
