Michael Burry, the investor who became famous for correctly predicting the 2008 US housing market crash and inspiring the Hollywood film 'The Big Short', has decided to shut down his hedge fund, Scion Asset Management, for a reason that has left many on Wall Street surprised.
Burry told investors he is closing his fund because he no longer understands today’s stock market.
