"I have no family", Rohini Acharya – daughter of RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav – firmly declared after she earlier made a shocking statement that she was quitting politics and "disowning" her family. She claimed that senior RJD figures Sanjay Yadav (a Rajya Sabha MP close to Tejashwi Yadav) and one Rameez had asked her to sever ties.
Speaking to the media at the Patna airport on Saturday, Rohini Acharya made a bleak declaration- "I have no family". This came a day after the RJD was reduced to just 25 seats in the Bihar Assembly elections.

Rohini, a doctor by profession, accused Sanjay Yadav, Rameez, and Tejashwi Yadav of orchestrating her breakoff from the family.
