Most people mean well with the unsolicited comments and questions they thrust at you when you are pregnant. But with my heightened level of hormones and officially on the receiving end, I can personally attest to several things that I now find annoying and intrusive.
I have come to realise that a woman who is carrying can sometimes feel like society’s property as soon as her pregnancy is known. So much so that the language used often comes across as very instructive and most times is based completely on people’s unique experiences.
