When you think of India’s job capitals, your mind probably flashes to the usual suspects, the skyscrapers of Mumbai, the tech parks of Bengaluru, the corporate corridors of Gurugram, or the bustling business lanes of Pune and Hyderabad.

However, according to a new report by Foundit, the country’s hiring map is being quietly redrawn, and it’s the smaller cities that are colouring it in.
