Official sanction for radio bureau
Governmental sanction has been granted to the Tokyo Radio Broadcasting Bureau and full reports are to begin tomorrow from the broadcasting station at Shibaura, according to an announcement at the Bureau’s headquarters here yesterday.
The Bureau plans an inaugural celebration marking the opening of the first officially recognized broadcasting station in Japan, it is understood. Market news, foreign trade information, general news and the stock exchange will be some of the things sent out from the station, which has been completed according to instructions from the Department of Communications.
