Infosys Chairman Nandan Nilekani’s Finternet initiative is preparing to transform the landscape of global financial infrastructure. Unveiled in 2023 and developed in collaboration with Agustn Carstens, Siddharth Shetty, and Dr Pramod Varma, Finternet aims to create an open and interoperable digital architecture for financial services. The project already has 10 cohorts across eight sectors, supported by 30 ecosystem partners, and is present on four continents. “This is an idea which is going global, where there is India, Singapore, New York San Francisco or Switzerland.
