In a clear sign of mounting panic over the escalating security crisis at home, Pakistan’s military establishment has resorted to its time-tested strategy of deflecting blame, now accusing India of using Afghanistan as a “base of operation for terrorism” on Pakistani soil.
This sensational claim was made by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry during a press conference in Peshawar, where he attempted to provide an overview of the dire security situation, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
