Tennis legend Vijay Amritraj’s recent comments on wildcard entries for Indian players at the upcoming Chennai Open have sparked a heated debate within the country’s tennis fraternity. The WTA 250 event, scheduled to take place in Chennai from 27 October to 2 November after a three-year hiatus, will mark the return of tour-level women’s tennis to India.
