Zoho co-founder Sridhar Vembu is praising yet another homegrown Indian app, and this time, itโs not one from his own company. Instead, itโs the newly launched navigation app Mappls by Indian mapping firm MapmyIndia. In one of his recent posts on X (formerly Twitter), Vembu called the app โvery niceโ and said it reflects โdecades of R&D, much longer than Google Maps.โ Vembuโs remarks came in response to a post by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who publicly encouraged citizens to try the โSwadeshi โMapplsโโ app developed by MapmyIndia.
