Maggie Kang, creator of the Netflix animated hit 'KPop Demon Hunters', has publicly rejected the idea of a live-action adaptation. Speaking to the BBC, Kang emphasised that animation is crucial to the film's tone and storytelling, and that its unique comedy and action would not translate to live-action.
Co-director Chris Appelhans agreed, highlighting the creative freedoms animation allows.
