It seems like there’s a mass shooting every other day, to the point where some aren’t covered and others get a day or two of media attention before they’re eclipsed by other news.
What’s also striking is that the deranged loners who had no ties to outside groups, whose families say they had no interest inpolitics, suddenly decide to pursue their grievances and open fire, even at schools. They have access to guns and turn into monsters, often getting themselves killed, or killing themselves, in the process.
