LG Electronics India had a dream debut on the stock market on Tuesday, but it wasn’t just the soaring share price that caught everyone’s attention.
The company’s Korean Managing Director, Hong Ju Jeon, won hearts across India when he addressed the audience entirely in Hindi at the company’s listing ceremony.

Jeon, who took charge as MD of LG Electronics India in January 2023, surprised investors and guests at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) event by delivering his speech in Hindi instead of English or Korean.
