The 33-year-old, who has represented Australia in three Tests and six T20Is, spoke candidly about his journey from surgery to chemotherapy and his ongoing path back to cricket.

Maddinson, a left-handed batter for New South Wales, discovered a lump in early 2025 but initially struggled to get it assessed.
