Following the success of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army has accelerated the deployment and procurement of combat-capable drones along the country’s borders. The move aims to strengthen operational readiness and enhance tactical capabilities amid heightened security concerns.
According to defence sources, the Army has fast-tracked orders for kamikaze and FPV (First-Person View) drones under the emergency procurement program for quick and lethal action against enemy targets.
