The Kolhapur bench of the Bombay High Court has granted bail to two key accused in the Govind Pansare murder case, citing prolonged incarceration and the principle of parity with other co-accused already released on bail.

Justice Shivkumar Dige granted bail to Sharad Kalaskar and Amol Kale, who have spent over six and seven years respectively in judicial custody. The duo had been accused of being part of the larger conspiracy surrounding the 2015 assassination of Govind Pansare.
