If you're a pet parent, you probably love doing everything with your furry friend. From morning cuddles in bed to long walks and sharing snack time, your day often revolves around that little bundle of joy.
But as much as you'd like to, you can't take your pet everywhere. Many places are still not pet-friendly, and leaving your companion in the car feels cruel, while tying them to a pole outside can be unsafe.

So, when news about German supermarkets introducing pet parking pads started circulating online, it was bound to make pet parents breathe a sigh of relief. These climate-controlled, ventilated kennels placed outside stores allow dogs to wait safely while their owners shop.
"Every time I have to visit a place that doesn't allow pets, it's a major stressor," says Nimita Khanna (name changed), a dog mom from Noida and proud owner of a golden retriever.
"Obviously, when I read about pet parking pads in Germany, I thought, why can't we have something like this here?"
The idea sounds fascinating, doesn't it? But could it really work in India?
