India coach Amol Muzumdar jumped to the defence of Pratika Rawal as the opener was criticised for her strike-rate during the ongoing Women's World Cup 2025. Pratika has been the second-highest run-getter for India during the tournament, scoring 186 runs in five matches.
She has scored a fifty during the tournament, but her strike rate has been 70.99, the second-lowest amongst the top ten run-getters.
