Amazon is taking a futuristic leap into the world of wearable tech, not for consumers this time, but for its army of delivery drivers. The company has revealed it’s testing a pair of AI-powered smart glasses designed to make package deliveries faster, smarter, and entirely hands-free. The concept is simple: instead of constantly juggling between their phones, packages, and surroundings, drivers will be able to rely on augmented reality and artificial intelligence to do the heavy lifting, or at least the thinking.
