India legend Sunil Gavaskar is hoping that Sarfaraz Khan got a clear message from the selectors as to why he is out of the national team set up at the moment. Sarfaraz last played for India during the New Zealand home series in late 2024 and was an unused player during the Australia tour. While he underwent a physical transformation and scored runs during the India A tour of England, he wasn't picked in the main team.
