It turns out you don’t need an IIT or IIM tag to land a job at some of the world’s biggest tech firms. A new survey has found that a surprising number of employees at Apple, Nvidia, and Zoho have not graduated from elite Indian universities, but from Tier-3 college, institutions often dismissed as β€œaverage.”

According to the survey, around one in three employees (34 per cent) at these companies said they came from Tier-3 institutions, proving that talent isn’t confined to the Ivy League equivalents of India.
