Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday underwent a procedure to have a pacemaker implanted, his son and Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge said.

The 83-year-old leader was admitted to the city's MS Ramaiah Hospital on Tuesday, party sources said.
