Apple is ramping up its production of AirPods in India, with the Hyderabad-based facility operated by Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT) set to increase both output and workforce. The plant, located in Kongara Kalan near Hyderabad, began producing AirPods commercially in April, with plans now underway to double its capacity. According to The Economic Times, the facility will overhaul five production lines to accommodate new AirPods models, and machinery is being transferred from Vietnam as operations diversify beyond China.
