Shreyas Iyer is stable and is out of danger after his horrible injury at the Sydney Cricket Ground, said Suryakumar Yadav ahead of the first T20I match between India and Australia. Speaking at the pre-match press conference on Tuesday, October 28, the India T20I captain provided the latest update on Iyer, who has been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Sydney hospital since his nasty fall.

Shreyas Iyer landed awkwardly on his rib cage while taking the catch of Alex Carey at backward point. Iyer ran back and was able to keep a hold of the catch, however, was not able to get up on his feet.
