After nearly a year’s gap, India and China resumed high-level border talks on October 25, 2025 at the Chushul-Moldo meeting point, marking the 23rd round of Corps Commander-level negotiations aimed at resolving remaining friction points along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the discussions were held in a β€œfriendly and cordial atmosphere.”

Both sides acknowledged the progress achieved since the 22nd round of talks in October 2024 and agreed to maintain peace and stability along the border through existing diplomatic and military mechanism
