How to have a healthy relationship with caffeine

Caffeine is the most widely consumed psychoactive drug in the world. It's in coffee, chocolate, energy drinks, soda and tea. It stimulates your brain and nervous system and may reduce fatigue and drowsiness.

And we can't get enough of it. According to one study, an estimated 85% of the U.S. population consumes at least one caffeinated beverage a day.

But is all that caffeine healthy?

It depends. Too much can lead to negative side effects like nervousness or headaches, but research has shown it can also provide positive health benefits too.
