The power struggle within the Tata Trusts, the philanthropic arm of the Rs 16 lakh crore Tata Group, just got more dramatic. In a significant manoeuvre, the influential Mehli Mistry, a trustee of Tata Trusts who took on its chairman Noel Tata, veteran industrialist Venu Srinivasan and former defence secretary Vijay Singh in a boardroom battle, has been blocked from the boards of key Tata trusts.
