After lashing parts of Goa, a depression over the east-central Arabian Sea has begun moving towards Gujarat, bringing rain and cooler temperatures to Marathwada and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
On Tuesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that the depression over the east-central Arabian Sea had remained practically stationary for over three hours.
