To be clear, this is not the full review of the Oppo Find X9 Pro. So, anything and everything I say here is subject to change after I have spent a good amount of time with it. There is good reason why I am making it clear right at the start. Why? I hope you will understand through the course of this “quick” review.
It is one thing to have an opinion. It is a whole different thing when someone else agrees with you. Say what you will, but it makes you feel good about yourself, however briefly. Given that smartphone choices are more subjective than you’d think, agreements are hard to come by, but in the case of the Oppo Find X9 Pro, I am happy to report that most people around me have had a largely positive first impression. Some, who are not deep neck into tech news and don’t change their phones in a jiffy, seemed surprised to know that it was even an Oppo phone. Fellow tech journalists drew comparisons, obviously, with the OnePlus 15 and iQOO 15 being the usual suspects for frame of reference.
