As ‘Baahubali: The Epic’, releases in cinemas on October 31, Shobu Yarlagadda, one of the producers, speaks to IndiaToday.in on the use of AI in filmmaking, apprehensions before making ‘Baahubali’, collaborating with SS Rajamouli and more.

The ‘Baahubali’ films used unique VFX and action sequences. When asked about the vision for the use of AI in the era of the AI 'Mahabharata' series, Shobu says, “I feel AI can only be used as one more tool to help creators make better quality content at a lesser cost. But I think the most important thing will still be the creative sensibilities of the person and team that is working, be it AI or traditional tools. Still, the director and creative team will have the final control, that is what will make all the difference.”
