Delhi's air quality index on Saturday remained in the 'poor' category for the second consecutive day, with a reading of 233, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The figure, however, was a slight increase from Friday's 218, but down from 373 on Thursday.

Data from the CPCB-developed Sameer app indicated that while the AQI hovered between the 'moderate' and 'poor' category, Wazirpur in north Delhi was the most polluted area, with a reading of 323, which falls in the 'very poor' category.
