In the best Elon Musk move imaginable, the billionaire has once again promised to make cars fly. Appearing on the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Musk dropped yet another bold claim, this time saying he hopes to demo a flying car prototype before the end of the year. If that sounds familiar, it’s because it is. Musk has been talking about flying cars since at least 2014, and like many of his grand ideas, from Mars colonies to Hyperloop pods, the timeline always seems to hover somewhere between soon and eventually.
