It is carrying maximum sustained winds of 140 km/h near the center and gusts of up to 170 km/h, and is moving west-northwestward at 15 km/h.
Eight areas in the Visayas and Mindanao are still under Signal No. 4 as Typhoon Tino intensified further while moving west-northwestward over the east of Dinagat Island, PAGASA said Monday evening.
At 7 p.m., Tino was located 95 km Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
