Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay have designed a new system that allows unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to fly in coordinated swarms without using GPS, inter-drone communication, or a central control hub.
The system was developed by Professor Dwaipayan Mukherjee and research scholar Chinmay Garanayak.
