Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has defended his leadership against criticisms presented in a new EU report on aspiring members of the bloc.
Speaking at Euronews' EU Enlargement Summit, the populist leader shrugged off reprimands from Brussels — as well as protests in his own country — by underlining Serbia’s economic credentials.
“I was facing protests since I became the prime minister in 2014,” said Vučić.
