As Cybersecurity Awareness Month just wrapped up in October, Iโve been thinking a lot about how teens like me can stay safe online. This means more than posters and reminders that we promptly ignore!
The more I learn about technology, AI, neo-banking, and digital money, the more keenly aware I am that staying safe online requires daily discipline.
I have classmates who think itโs only girls who need to be vigilant and careful of strangers on the Internet. Thatโs not actually true โ I have so many friends โ boys and girls โ who have been targeted online in some way, either with strangers approaching us, financial scams, or bullying by spreading rumours.
