Air Quality Index (AQI) levels have reached hazardous zones across most areas, reigniting debates over whether the national capital has become unfit to live in.

Experts note that while pollution plagues much of urban India year-round, the onset of winter exposes Delhi-NCR’s crisis more starkly as thick layers of smog envelop the city.
