Typhoon Tino (international name: Kalmaegi) left parts of the Visayas region devastated, causing widespread flooding, toppled trees, and soil erosion in several areas.
According to a report by the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) on Wednesday, the fatalities due to the impact of Tino have now increased to 66.
Most of the deaths were reported in Central Visayas, with 50.
Meanwhile, a total of 26 individuals have been reported missingโ13 in Negros Occidental and 13 in Cebu Provinceโwhile at least 10 people
