Homeland Security officials defended federal immigration agents Tuesday after journalists were shoved at a New York City immigration court, leaving one in the hospital. Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said the agents were being “swarmed by agitators and members of the press, which obstructed operations,” and insisted they repeatedly told people to move back.
