The local governments in the National Capital Region (NCR) are now gearing up for the impact of the potential Super Typhoon Uwan, Metro Manila Council (MMC) president and San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora said Friday.
“Tuloy-tuloy ang paghahanda ng lahat ng Metro Manila LGUs,” Zamora told GMA Integrated News’ Unang Balita in an interview.
(The preparation of all Metro Manila LGUs is ongoing.)
He said the LGUs in NCR are prepositioning rescue equipment and relief goods.
They are also declogging drainage systems and storing oil for the immediate operation of pumping station
