Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung-Wong) intensified on Saturday morning as it continued on its track toward the Philippine landmass. It is also expected to reach super typhoon category on Saturday night or Sunday morning, PAGASA said.
With this, several malls in the country have offered free overnight parking and shelter.

Ayala Malls will open a designated area to serve as temporary shelters. Waiting areas and restrooms will also be open beyond mall hours.
