A new Heritage Minute feature celebrates the legacy of Anne Innis Dagg, the zoologist with roots in Waterloo who became the leading authority on giraffes. Dagg fell in love with the animals at a young age and studied them in Africa throughout her career. She later wrote what is now considered the bible on giraffes. Now, there's a new Heritage Minute, released by Historica Canada on Thursday morning. Mary Dagg, Anne's daughter and CEO of the Anne Innis Dagg Foundation, told CBC K-W's Aastha Shetty what it was like to work on the one-minute feature about her mother.
