The Philippines was counting the cost of another massive storm on Monday after Super ยญTyphoon Fung-wong battered the countryโ€™s northeast, inundating homes, farms and evacuation shelters, and cutting power to areas across Luzon Island less than a week after Typhoon ยญKalmaegi killed more than 200 people.

At least two people died before the typhoon โ€“ the 21st to hit the country this year and the biggest yet โ€“ even made landfall around 9.10pm on Sunday on Luzonโ€™s eastern
