The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the M23 rebel group have signed a framework agreement for a peace deal aimed at ending the fighting in the country's east.
Officials from the two warring parties signed the document, called the Doha Framework for a Comprehensive Peace Agreement, at a ceremony in Qatar also attended by Qatari negotiators and US diplomats.
