Marrakech – Carré d’Or in Casablanca hosted on Thursday a national conference titled “Rising Morocco… Youth at the Heart of the Social State.” Organized by the “Moustaqil” initiative in partnership with Al Moultaqa Foundation, the event brought together ministers, public figures, young entrepreneurs, and community leaders.

The conference follows royal directives issued after the October 19 Council of Ministers meeting, which outlined a comprehensive national policy for youth empowerment.

This meeting established a framework positioning young people as the driving force behind Morocco’s development model and a cornerstone of the modern social state.

Moulay Mounir El Kadiri Boudchich, president of Al Moultaqa Foundation, talked about the importance of involving youth in public policy formulation and implementing Morocco’s ongoing economic and social transformation.

Each year, Youth Day is celebrated on August 21, coinciding with King Mohammed VI’s birthday, underscoring his belief that young people are the drivers of national development.
