Days after a landslide win in the Bihar Assembly polls, the new NDA government will take oath on November 20 (Thursday) at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. However, it remains unclear whether JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar would take oath as the Chief Minister for a record tenth time.

Nitish Kumar, who has been backed by NDA allies to take charge of Bihar's top post again, chaired his last Cabinet meeting at 11:30 am. A proposal was passed to dissolve the Cabinet, following which Nitish Kumar met Governor Arif Mohammad Khan at Raj Bhavan, telling him he would resign on November 19 and the outgoing Assembly would be dissolved too.
